Send Us Good Summer, O Lord…

Dear Families,

As the 23-24 school year comes to a close, we pause to say thank you to our entire school community for all of the hard work and devotion that has been shown throughout the year as 102 young souls grew in faith and knowledge. As I was reviewing photos from the year, I was reminded of the traffic woes that we had for the first weeks of school. I had actually forgotten about all of it! But that is how God works in our school…yes, hard times can happen, but the consolations and “holy moments” that He sends along the way are what we actually carry in our hearts. Thank you, parents and families, for partnering with us to provide the best education for your children and for your cooperation with so many events and daily tasks. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for the fundraisers, chaperoning, event-judging and school help! We are a grateful school! Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for the limitless love and hard work this year and thank you, students for being the light that keeps the soul of St. Peter School alive! This year we were all asked to “come to the table” with our gifts and talents, our spirit and cooperation. When I close my eyes I see all of us – every student, parent, volunteer, teacher, staff, and benefactor sitting around a big table enjoying some awesome meal together and sharing stories and laughter from a great school year. Thanks for pulling up your chair to the table this year! God bless you with a healthy and restful summer, St. Peter School! Well done!
