Our St. Peter’s Rock’n Readers won the First Place Trophy at the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 Fall Elementary Reading Competition on Tuesday, November 15th! This is their third straight time winning this top honor and we are incredibly proud of their hard work representing our school. A big thanks to our coaches, Mrs Ulerich and Mrs. Miller and to Mr. Dan Ulerich, our bus driver, who got the team safely to the competition and home again during some rough weather! Our Fall 2022 team members are: Fourth Graders: Emily Borek, Brooke Miller and Gabe Zawisza. Fifth Graders: Koa Anderson, Hudson Clarke, Addy Gontis, Brody Stankan and Jackson Topper. Sixth Graders: Ruari Egal, Grayson Glessner, Molly Stoy, Nathan Topper and Jacob Zawisza. Both Nathan Topper and Addyson Gontis were recognized for reading all 40 books of the Fall Competition List. A special thanks to our parent volunteers as well! The team is growing by leaps and bounds and already getting ready for the spring competition.
