Recently 10 students had their artwork featured in the Laurel Arts Dressler Center Elementary Art Show. Representing our school this year were: Grade 1-Lauren Sobolewski; Grade 3-Thressa Ledney, Meredith Sobolewski; Grade 4-Ryan Kinney, Arabella Renna; Grade 5-Natalie Riggs, Ben Bowers, Abigail Ledney, Carson Vought, Samantha Brinton; Grade 6-Haley Grenke, Kaylie May, Sydney Grosholz. Two students received special recognition for their pieces. Fifth grader Samantha Brinton won a second place ribbon and Sydney Grosholz received an Honorable Mention. Well done! All classes also participated in a classroom handwriting competition to determine the 2018 Zaner Bloser Handwriting Contest entries for St. Peter School. Classroom winners are: Kindergarten – Koa Anderson; First Grade – Molly Stoy; Second Grade – Maddox Santoyo; Third Grade – Meredith Sobolewski; Fourth Grade – Cruz Santoyo; Fifth Grade – Emily Rush; Sixth Grade – Kaylie May.
