On Friday, October 2, St. Peter School celebrated its second annual outdoor Mass despite gray skies and cooler temperatures. Many invited guests were in attendance for the Mass which included a blessing of the school’s brand new playground and swings. Those who had helped with the backyard improvement project were asked to be present for the special liturgy so the school could express their thanks and gratitude. Despite this cloudy and cold day on October 2nd, due to the rare and beautiful fall we have had this year with temperatures staying warm, the playground has received much use and is a blessing to all the students. One class per day is permitted on the playground equipment and it is sanitized before each use to ensure it is properly cleaned for student use. The St. Peter School community thanks the many people whose love and dedication to our school made this project possible. God is Good!
