Starting Monday, June 1st, after the morning PRIVATE Mass in the Rectory, Holy Communion will be distributed daily at 7:30 am in the Church! On June 6 & 7 there will be Holy Communion Service at 4pm on Saturday and 8 and 10 am and 12:15pm on Sunday. BEGINNING THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 14TH, ST. PETER’S CHURCH WILL HAVE MASS AT OUR NORMAL TIMES, 4PM ON SATURDAY AND 8AM, 10AM AND 12:15PM ON SUNDAY.
THOSE WHO COME TO MASS NEED TO RECOGNIZE THE RISK OF POSSIBLE UNINTENDED EXPOSURE TO THE CORONAVIRUS AND REFRAIN IF THEY ARE SICK OR AT A GREATER RISK OF SUSCEPTIBILITY TO COVID-19.
Furthermore, the church bulletin states:
- Please try to observe physical distancing
- Hymnals, missalettes and other literature have been removed from the pews. Those who wish, may bring prayer books, literature etc. with them and take them home when they leave
- Cleaner/disinfectant will be be available
- Hand Sanitizer is available at all entrances of the Church.
- Restrooms will be disinfected and cleaned regularly. Please use common sense.
- Above all, STAY HOME if you are feeling sick.
We have all faced challenges practicing our faith while churches were closed. Now we will be called back to the practice of our faith in our churches together again and to receive Jesus, as we are able, in the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist.
